Proposal of Modifications and Completion of Communication Mix of a Hotel

The thesis deals with an analysis of marketing communication of the Avanti Hotel resident in the city of Brno and subsequent processing of communication mix proposals. The work aims at designing completion proposals that will help improve the current situation of the hotel. The work consists of three parts – theoretical (that includes explained terms from the given field), practical (in which the current state of the company is assessed) and proposal (with proposals how to meet the set objectives).

The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, which include explanations of basic concepts of marketing, marketing and communication mix and hotel management. The practical part is focused on analysis of marketing mix, communication mix, and analysis of competition and SWOT analysis. In the end of the thesis I suggest new marketing mix.

Bachelors project is focused on acquisition of the asset and repositioning into hotel. Hotel is built into the area in the boat. It is situated in St. Petersburg and its environs in the Russian Federation. It includes reconstruction plan by 90 beds and a restaurant for 150 guests. The cash flow of the hotel and the restaurant is forecasted and estimated for 2 years. Profit before tax in year one is expected to be at 27.471.070 millions, and in year two 32 464 900 millions roubles. The payback Yield is estimated at 33.3%.
